The University of Texas Medical School Department of Neurosurgery is recruiting for an Assistant Professor Non-Tenure Research with experience in Cancer Research. The research-track assistant professor should have a PhD in biology or a related area. He/she is required to have at least three years of productive postdoctoral research experience in cancer. A strong publication record in cancer is a requirement. The assistant professor will be tasked to conduct cancer-related projects, mentor graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and apply for independent grant funding.

The Rank of Assistant Professor, NTR in Neurosurgery will teach participate in research studies, provide training to Residence, Fellow, and supervision of Medical Students. Required or preferred minimum 3 years of research experience.
