The Opportunity Details:
We're seeking energetic, motivated, career-oriented fitness professionals to join our team.
This is NOT a sales-first job. This is a COACHING-FIRST job.
You'll guide clients through transformative journeys integrating mindset, movement, and nutrition while being a valued member of our Peak family. This isn't about counting reps or hitting sales quotas – it's about changing lives and being part of something bigger.
What You'll Do
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead Group Training Sessions: Deliver high-energy, professional group classes for our Adult Program, Athlete Program, and specialized training programs (HYROX, etc.)
Provide Private Coaching: Conduct one-on-one sessions tailored to individual client needs, goals, and limitations
- Design & Implement Programs: Work with your Program Director to create safe, effective training programs that facilitate client progress
- Build Community: Foster genuine connections, make every client feel valued, and create an inclusive environment where everyone belongs
- Deliver 5-Star Service:
- Greet clients by name
- Arrive early (10-15 minutes) to prepare spaces
- Start and end sessions on time
- Provide honest, direct feedback using clients' names
- Follow up with clients who cancel or no-show
- Educate & Empower: Guide clients in:
- Strength-based movements
- Functional movement training
- Metabolic energy systems training
- General nutrition education
- Mindset strategies for sustainable results
- Monitor & Track Progress: Record client achievements, adjust programs as needed, and celebrate wins
- Maintain Excellence: Keep training spaces pristine, handle equipment with care, and uphold professional standards in all interactions
- Collaborate & Grow: Work alongside our coaching team, share insights, seek feedback, and continuously develop your craft

Our Schedule
We offer multiple training sessions throughout the week to accommodate our clients' busy lives:
- Morning sessions starting at 5:30 AM
- Evening sessions ending at 6:45 PM
- 25+ class options available weekly
- Weekend availability required
- Flexible scheduling based on client needs and team coverage

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Active CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) from a nationally recognized organization
- Current CPR / AED / First Aid certification
- Minimum 1 year of Personal Training or Coaching experience
- Minimum 1 year of service-based business experience
- Demonstrated history of living an active lifestyle
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- High energy and ability to maintain enthusiasm throughout sessions
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Nutrition, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or related field (preferred but not required)
Additional Certifications & Experience Include, But Aren't Limited To:
- CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist)
- DNS Certification
- TRX Certification
- HIIT / Bootcamp experience or certifications
- CCC or similar Metabolic Training Certification
- Experience as a Metabolic Tester or working with metabolic tests to create energy system programs
- Familiarity or experience using HR Zone Training
- BMS – Behavior Modification Specialist Certification
- CES – Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification
- PES – Performance Enhancement Specialist
- Internship experience or workshops based in adult populations
- FMS – Functional Movement Screens
- Pn1 – Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification
- Experience with holistic coaching (integrating mindset and nutrition)
- Background in athletic performance or sports
- Knowledge of behavior change and habit formation
- Experience with coaching software and client management systems
